As part of our mandate to share the benefits of martial arts and to have fun, Element Martial Arts the studio offers energetic, exciting Summer Camps and thrilling, inspiring Karate Ninja Birthday Parties. And both our summer camps and birthday parties follow our mantra of inclusivity and accessibility for all kids, no matter their individual challenges.
Hosted in our world-class facilities by our highly skilled instructors, these additional programs offer kids the opportunity to explore the different disciplines of martial arts. Combining technique with lots of fun, these programs are designed to introduce the basic concepts of martial arts with drills and fitness practices, and just for fun, we throw in some of the more exciting challenges like board breaking!

Karate Ninja Birthday Parties
Are you looking for a unique and exciting idea for your child’s birthday party? Book a Karate Ninja Party at Element!
Our birthday parties are fun but structured events led by our expert instructors. Kids learn some basic skills and techniques while having tons of fun and parents get to sit back and relax… we’ll take care of non-stop activities for the kids. The birthday child and friends are introduced to martial arts skills by navigating obstacle courses, punching targets, and getting the opportunity to break boards!
Element Birthday parties are the perfect way to make great memories, and capture photos for the scrapbook - especially when you can cut the cake with a real samurai sword!
Birthday Packages Include:
- 1 Hour of instruction (includes learning techniques, games, and learning to break boards!)
- 45 Minutes in our party room for food, cake, and presents. Please note: parents are responsible for bringing cake/food.
Cost:
$350 + GST flat rate for up to 10 children, additional $18.50 per extra child, and must be prepaid in advance to book all Birthday parties. Pre-payment can be done in person or over the phone ( 368-993-5668 ) with a credit card.
Waivers do need to be signed for all participants if they have never attended classes at our facility. The waiver can be downloaded here.
Camps & Birthday Parties: Frequently Asked Questions
We ask that all participants be potty-trained. We are able to customize a party for children as young as aged 3, but the party is best suited for children aged 5-12.
We will provide the facility, instruction, and any equipment needed for the karate class. Our party room is equipped with a table, benches, and a kneeling table to eat around. You are responsible for cake, food, plates, cups, water bottles for the lesson, any decorations you would like to bring, candles, lighters, and any activities you would like to do in the 45 minutes after the lesson.
This is totally up to your family. If you want to encourage parents to participate, this is counted in the 12 paid student spots. Any combination of parents and kids exceeding 12 will be subject to the additional participant fee. You may also host the parents in the upstairs classroom or parent viewing area.
*During COVID we ask that they drop the children off. Check for current regulations when booking.
Each Spring we announce the dates for our Martial Arts Summer Camp, follow us on social media or check out our website for more details. Once our dates are announced you can sign your child up for our Martial Arts Summer Camp by filling out the form here.
You'll then receive a confirmation email, registration and waiver forms, and payment information.
For a full-day camper please pack a water bottle, comfortable clothes your child can move around in, a full lunch with multiple snacks, any medication or personal items they may need. If your child is currently one of our students they are welcome to wear their martial arts uniforms, but they are not required to. Please pack additional street clothes for the non-martial art activities. Other than that we will provide everything your child needs for the camp. We do offer personal equipment for sale if you would like for the camp or for regular classes afterward.
We do not allow parent participation, this is to encourage your child to experience the camp with the other children, nurture confidence, and foster empowerment. Our instructors have many years of experience facilitating these programs to make the camp the most enjoyable for your children, and if parents attend we find the kids aren't able to be kids! Parents are welcome to attend the mini-tournament at the end of the week.
