Professor Wolfgang

Wolfgang Janssen

Wolfgang is Element’s resident Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blackbelt. He has trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 14 years and kickboxing for 10 years. Wolfgang joined the Element Family in 2020 but has been personal training and coaching since 2014. Wolfgang holds a black belt and upper professor status on the CJ/ GF team. He is currently the professor in charge of our BJJ curriculum and competitive team.

Through martial arts Wolfgang has traveled all over the world training with notable black belts including Cristiano Marcelo, Roger Gracie, Olavo Abreu, and Carlson Gracie Jr. He has also been able to compete in high-level competition in BJJ and MMA in China, the USA, Brazil, and Thailand
